The thing is, I have a old sofa right outside the door. The bird stand on the soda and flys up to the upper part of the door and "ram" at the door and gets right back to the sofa. And then walk to the other "door" and does the same thing. Sometimes it climb onto the screen door and peck. Other times it peck straight at the screen while standing on the sofa.

Is it finding insects on the screen? I've heard of other birds poking holes in screens in an effort to capture insects. Redwings are probers in the sense that they will stick their bills into something, usually the ground, but maybe a screen, and then open the bill to force a hole into which they can find insects. Interesting!
