Skylark

Alauda arvensis

Description:

The skylark has a very distinctive vertical flight pattern. It flies straight up in the sky, hovering a little each way. Can also be identified by its notched tail and its distinctive song

Notes:

I couldn't get a good shot of him, he kept sliding up and down in the air with ease! Everytime I thought I had a good shot, he was gone by the time I pressed the shutter button.
