well this was right off sipadan island just off the coast of malaysian borneo.---who knows, maybe this guy is one of those juveniles you saved all grow'd up!
Haha, yes that's very true! I got to see some juveniles of these guys get released back into the ocean when I was in Indonesia, they'd been captured for the live fish trade but were rescued :) Also, just realised I spelled "Napoleon" wrong, oops sorry!
i think they have really interesting faces, maybe because the lips look more like human and less like a fish!
Excellent find, this is a humphead wrasse (also called a Napolean wrasse). I'll suggest the ID for you! They're huge aren't they?! I saw one from a distance, didn't get this close!
