Small white flowers with 5 petals in star shape with stripes of pink or purple on petals. Long drooping stems 5-25 cm tall with large oval leaves in pairs.

Habitat:

Bogs, marsh, swampy areas.

This is not starflower, it is miner's lettuce, Claytonia sibirica.
