Red orange colored moth.
..find we in the Las Tangaras Colombia 8-12-2013
I do not challenge Despina's ID, but I am sceptic or not really hsppy with the dark markings on the forewing. Tiny "pins" in this one vs. round spots in the Lampruna group. It should be Tiger Moth.
Hi Rianne, I left a comment in PJ wordwide in FB, about the species, wich I believe it must be a Lampruna perflua moth, or a Lampruna rosea. You may find the species also under the name " Symphlebia perflua" or as "Symphlebia perflua rosea", but it is deffinitely the same, it's a synonym. Check the following links:
as Symphlebia perflua in Flickr
https://c1.staticflickr.com/2/1657/25805...
as Lampruna perflua in Wiki. The species does live in Colombia as well.

Welcome to Project Noah Rianne! We'll try to increase its visibility so that you have more chance to get an ID.
