Description:

For some reason the mapping function is not working. I found this at Huntley Meadows Park on the Cedar Trail. I've seen them there before. Beautiful bright orange lined with white. Usually found at the base of a tree though not visibly attached.

Habitat:

Northern Virginia woodlands

Notes:

There were a lot of what looked like very large ants scurrying around it.
