Gordon, thanks a lot! According to the list you suggested and some literature on the local butterflies I found this might be Thymelicus sylvestris.
It's one of the skippers, but I'm not familiar with them in your area. You might want to try http://www.eurobutterflies.com/species_i.... Go part way down the very long list to the skippers and start looking for a photo that you think best matches your spotting. Good luck.
