The black spots on the forewing (margin) are usually not so clearly seen in Phoebe as in Cinxia. In yours there are quite good visible. And still: It is a central and southern European fritillary and should not be so far in the north as your indicated location. And as it happens with a lot of these tricky genus, there is quite a great variability in ground color, markings and hairs.

Thx bayucca for the suggest, but it's been the phoebe - I can tell because the lower side of the wings had not the brighter colors of the cinxia. Plus, the phoebe is more hairy than the cinxia.

Hamburg is too far north for Phoebe and Phoebe is the largest European fritillary and yours seems to be a medium size. What about Cinxia?
