Completely white, looks like maybe a partial vail

Habitat:

In sandy, composted and mulched soil, next to a silver maple

Notes:

Has been nibbled on, very lightly moist cap but not slimy

I think it may be a "Clitopilus prunulus", but there isn't a shot of the underside, so I'm not sure..
If it is, its edible. You might want to see if it smells meally too..its one of the attributes.
