Completely white, looks like maybe a partial vail
In sandy, composted and mulched soil, next to a silver maple
Has been nibbled on, very lightly moist cap but not slimy
I think it may be a "Clitopilus prunulus", but there isn't a shot of the underside, so I'm not sure..If it is, its edible. You might want to see if it smells meally too..its one of the attributes.Nick
i dont believe its an amanita....lacking the bulbous base
