Description:

Large brown spider with black and beige markings. Cephalothorax + abdomen ~ 0.5 inch long. With legs extended, it is greater than 2 inches in diameter.

Habitat:

Suburban area on insular tropical upland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted in my garage, on its last legs--all eight of them. It was shown the (garage) door and then imaged in my driveway.
