Cinnabar moth

Tyria jacobaeae

Description:

This is a known breeding spot for the Cinnabar, but no caterpillars as yet. However a lone moth fluttered by enabling me to get a picture. A great little moth to point out to my two year old daughter.

Habitat:

Lakeside, ragwort, teasel, Vetch, grass
