Description:

These bright orange and spiny Treehopper nymphs were being guarded by adults that so resembled the leaves of the plant they lived on that they were almost invisible.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
