The second photo makes me think A. velox more, but there is still a part in the first photo where I can't decide if I see faint spots or not on the black portion before the tail. I just can't make myself say one way or the other, but am leaning slightly more towards A. velox :)

I'm having a hard time seeing what I need to see to determine species since there is a shadow on him. Do you remember seeing faint spots between the stripes on the back half-ish of the body? If there were faint spots, then it would be A. neomexicana. If no faint spots, then it is A. velox. I'm leaning more towards A. velox, but like I said am having a hard time seeing the photo.
