Description:

At the moment this plant is about 21/2 feet tall. I just bout the house I'm at now and figured out just about everything else but this. Please help

looks like a lactuta family member. If you "injure" the plant, is milk running out of the cuts? If so, your plant is most likely a Lactuta sp. If not you could still try Brassicaceae ( like Diplotaxis tenuifolia).
Please be careful, the milk can produce skin reactions, and don´t try to taste it.
