Description:

Parasitic "herbaceous perennial plant." Doesn't use the sun for energy, hints, the lack of green pigment. Parasitic to trees. Very close relative to the parasitic plant, Indian Pipe.

Habitat:

This one was found in Hyde Memorial State Park. Found on the forest floor under deciduous and coniferous trees. Mildly steep embankment.
