Okay, I was just looking closely at the brown spots on the mushroom and they looked granular like maybe frog eggs. It is so perfectly damp back there. And who could forget such a lovely place.

No, Nancy, it is a solitary mushroom growing on a slice of pine tree...right at the bridge near the waterfall...that damp area...remember...
