Rock pigeon

Columba livia

Description:

This species must be the most widely distributed and urbanized bird species in the world. Rock pigeons fascinate me because arguably they are (like rats) one of the most adaptable vertebrates at present.

Notes:

Rock pigeons and other pigeons that have been domesticated are able to navigate by following man-made constructions such as roads.

You should go some day..it was one of this once in a lifetime must do experiences :-) If you go make sure to go in a boat cruis with scuba included. The wild life of these islands is as pretty under water as above!
