Ashish, now I think you're right - this is another Looper Moth ...Spaniocentra species?

Thanks so much Scott! Wow, Comibaena procumbaria could really be it! ... But now I'm doubting between that and C. connata as we do seem to share some wildlife with Australia...

The two Comibaena species you're considering seem to be limited to Australia (I think?). A more widespread southeast Asian species is C. procumbaria. I can't find a lot of information online about its distribution, and I can't read most of what I've found. It's a really lovely moth, though!

Now am thinking it might be a Comibaena mariae or Comibaena connata... Any moth experts out there? :-)

A friend has just suggested Eucyclodes buprestaria... Can anyone confirm this? And does anyone know the common name?
Thanks!
