Monocelate cobra

Naja kaouthia

Description:

Long big black brown snake.

Habitat:

Our garden Thalang Phuket Thailand

Notes:

This huge snake has just snapped up a big toad. ( zoom in on the last picture in the middle of the green ) Pictures taken by Oliver Marquardt. They were staying at our house when they took this picture, ( without using a zoom!) We have since seen the cobra many, many times so I do believe I am legitimate in posting this picture as it was OUR cobra :-)
