Nymphaea pubescens
Water lily, known as Kumud in India, always blooms at dusk and stays in blooming position all over night and when sunlight started to be hotter, it closes its petals looking like a bud. Next dusk it again blooms and so on. It is very similar to Lotus flower (Kamal), but Lotus flower always blooms in morning. It means in the morning no one can identify among them, which is Lily and which is Lotus.
Ravi, "Scentl" here means a typo!! i was going to write Scent . Anyways I think that Fragrance would be a better word!
Red and Yellow Anthers find only in Nymphaea rubra. Flower is very slim like your spotting. Perianths also narrow.
In Nymphaea pubescens flower is little fat at Receptable part. Anthers are also White and Yellow. Perianths are little elliptic(broad in middle and at Peducle side)
In Nymphaea nouchali Anthers are Purple and Yellow.
Ashish jee, clearly its color is pink, not red. It is also not Lotus. It is Water Lily. Pink Water Lily.
