It is *full* on baby bunny season at the Magic Hedge in Chicago. At one point I stood on the path and watched at *least* ten different rabbits play around me - adults, both male and females, and young ones of different sizes.

I once had a group of second grade students bring me 6 baby rabbits while I was teaching a whole different group. I have no idea why they thought *I* needed them. I took them back outside after school and let them go. Mom seemed to be looking for them. Oy.
I raised 3 bunnies for two months. The neighborhood kids brought them in and said that the mother was dead. What really amazed me is when they started jumping over a box wall 3 ft high. They did not have a mother to teach them that.
