Eastern Grey Squirrel

Sciurus carolinensis

Description:

Bolder Eastern Grey Squirrel peering out from an Australian Pine tree. This squirrel has been observed taking its share from bird feeders even when large birds are present eating that which has fallen to the ground. I have several pictures of his blurred form as he dashes past the birds. The Squirrel resides in a suburban neighborhood on the FL gulf coast.

Habitat:

Spotted in the coastal suburban tropical south.

I knew it was a pine and definitely not your Southern Yellow. Other than sitting in an invasive species of tree, the squirrel still posed nicely. (Spotting updated to ID tree.)
