These are definitely caladiums. We just moved from Florida to Georgia. They grow all over down there, as a matter of fact most of them come from Lake Placid, a stones throw from my home town. I would say the leaves on these are a little more rubbery than paperlike.

I truly defer to your experience Ashish. My nursery experience here in the US led me to call the papery leaved plants caladiums while calling the rubbery leaved plants Elephant ears, making the elephant ear the hardier of the two. All in all, they go by the same scientific name, right?

Not native to the US origins in tropics, usually planted from purchased bulbs.
