Spotting

Description:

Pale yellow petals with a maroon center. The flower petals look as if they have been partially eaten.

Habitat:

Found in a botanical garden in Austin, Texas

Notes:

After some research I am thinking these are Hibiscus calyphyllus but would like some help with identification.
