Western Tussock Moth

Orgyia vetusta

Description:

Adult moth with large, comb antennae and fuzzy legs. The wings have a single white spot on them. There are wavy bands of brown, black and tan.

Habitat:

Side of house in Oak woodland. This species is found from Washington state, down to Baja California.
