Description:

Often found in villages, a very invasive animal. Ruins crops of many farms that are around. Very aggressive and can attack. The wild ass belongs to the family of Equide that includes horses, zebras and donkeys. The wild asses are great runners and has the capacity of running at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour during emergency.

Habitat:

Grasslands nearby Rann of Kutch.

Recently learnt from the Wild Ass sanctuary that the world’s last population of the wild ass are found in the sanctuary and nearby areas.
