This individual was spotted near Kianga, New South Wales (SE Australia) where we later spotted a small group wading through the marshes.
Also in the photo an Australian Wood Duck and a Great Egret (Ardea alba) - I'll let you work out which is which!

It looks like Mr. Spoonbill objects to the intrusion of Mr. duck as if he had a secret to tell Mr Egret.
