Project Noah Nature School
Numenes siletti
The yellow and black moth has a wingspan of 4 cm (1.6 inches).
Hills overlooking Manila.
ID found! Hallelujah! :-)
Thanks anyway! At least now I know it's 'non-typical South Cental American'! :-)
I haven't seen anything remotely like this. The moths & butterfly's I have I.dentified are all from south central america.
Among the many, many (!) moths I've scanned through the last few day, haven't been able to see a single one that reminds me of this moth... Could anyone give me a clue about its ID? Thanks! :-)
Could this be a kind of tiger moth?
