I think I may have a carpenter bee in one of my unknown spottings..can you guys confirm? now that I see this one I think it may also be one:

I'm actually just East of there, but not that far. It is a nice area to be in.

Where I live or the bee? :) It is a nice place for a holiday, and a great place to live.

what a pretty place to live! never been there, but it sure is a good place for a holiday

:) there is a carpenter bee in my garden too, usually visiting the butterfly bush, the rose of sharon and the hollyhocks

Yes, on a bouganvillea bush. I've seen them flying around a lot (they usually make me duck!) but this was the first time I managed to get close enough to one to take a photo.
