Bigeye Scad

Selar crumenophthalmus

Habitat:

In shallow and deep (to 500 feet) waters, usually where it's murky but often over reefs.

Notes:

School swam by me in the shallow beach while I was snorkeling. NOTE on ID: Tried my best to make an ID based on the little details I can make on the photo (mouth shape, fins, etc.) also on likelihood of habitat and range. However, there is a chance this could be Mackerel Scad.
