Asian Swallowtail

Papilio Xutus

Description:

This fellow (correct me, if I’m wrong) is an Asian (or Chinese Yellow) Swallowtail – Papilio Xutus. They are middle to large seized with a wingspan of approc.45mm and are found in Asia, but also in maritime regions of Siberia and Hawaii and very common. The Papilio macharon (Old world Swallowtail) looks similar, but has a different colouring.
