Description:

Tall green plant with long leaves similar to a palm tree. At the top of the reeds, there's a feathery growth resembling pompas grass in the winter (seen in last image). This is not native to California and is invasive.

Habitat:

Growing on Lake Hodges shore in full sun.

Notes:

Aka Carrizo, Arundo, Spanish cane and Wild cane
