Blue flying insect with horizontal black stripes down the abdomen and four vertical black stripes down the thorax. The distinguishing markings pointing to their species are the triangular black dots down the abdomen. The female is gray and can be seen at: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/774...
Spotted by one of my tween nature enthusiasts on nearby flowers at a nursery.
