Painted Bunting

Painted Bunting

Description:

Fairly small bird, the dove standing next to this Painted Bunting gives a feel for his size. Blue head, with yellow and green on back feathers. Neck is red which goes to orange.

Notes:

We saw this Painted Bunting on our bird feeder yesterday (8/12/11) and we saw it again today.

The point of Project Noah is to catalogue each species. So You should put the dove on another listing. Don't you want the cool patches for how many species you list? ;)

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to use the same picture for two species? I really don't want to have to upload this picture again for the dove if I don't have to. Thank you.

That's what I thought, too. They were definitely named correctly! :)
