Zitting Cisticola

Cisticola juncidis

Description:

The Zitting Cisticola is brown above, heavily streaked with black markings. The underparts are whitish, and the tail is broad and white-tipped.

Notes:

The small size of this bird (10 cm) is used with irony in its spanish name, Buitrón, that means something like 'huge vulture'.
