Those are really nice looking ones too! Chanterelles are one of the easiest to learn - not the gills are very shallow and blunt. That's the main ticket to telling them from the look alikes

I have a secret patch near my cabin in NC...I get them every summer....so yummy!

Thank you all for the ID help! I wish I'd have known they were delicious and non-poisonous! Unfortunately, I saw them in Congaree National Park, SC the summer before last, so I couldn't tell exactly which species it was. But I'm much closer now to knowing than before yall's help!

Very nice patch of Chanterelles! They are excellent with any dish you would put mushrooms in! Verify the underside first, but they certainly look like the ones we collect here all fall long!
