Hyla chrysoscelis
Cope's Grey Tree Frog is a species of tree frog which is found in the United States. It is almost indistinguishable from the Grey Tree Frog, Hyla versicolor, and shares much of its geographic range. Both species are variable in color, mottled gray to gray-green, resembling the bark of trees. These are tree frogs of woodland habitats, though they will sometimes travel into more open areas to reach a breeding pond.
Semi rural.

Thanks Lisa! I will update the identity.
Hi Karen,
The Gray Treefrog (Hyla versicolor) and the Cope's Gray Treefrog (Hyla chrysoscelis) look identical and can only be identified by DNA analysis or sonal analysis at a known temperature. The ranges of the 2 species in Tennessee have not been clearly delineated as yet, but sonal analyses by the Englishes suggest that H. versicolor is only found in the southwestern corner of the state and that H. chrysoscelis is found statewide.

Thanks Cindy! I'm having problem uploading photos & adding Wiki links today!
Hi Karen, unfortunately the first image isn't showing up due to a glitch. You need to delete the image and re-upload. It happens all the time to me :)
