Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

Papilio glaucus

Description:

Tiger Swallowtail butterfly on back yard flowers. I do not know if it is the eastern or western variety, but since it is east of the Rockies, I have called it eastern.

Habitat:

back yard flower garden.

Notes:

The wings are ragged and have moderate damage.
