Corvus corax
This was the best raven performance I have ever seen. The updraft must have been perfect at the summit of Mt Thom that day. Dozens of Common Ravens playing, passing sprigs of evergreen from their beak to their feet and back and forth, calling, barrel-rolling, clasping feet together in a downwards spiral - it was wonderful. I didn't want to leave! This was in the middle of the day - a great show while we had our lunch.

Great series ! good idea linking it to your recent spotting birdlady6000 !
I am up on Mt Thom, near Chilliwack, BC and there were many pairs of them playing, passing sprigs of evergreen back and forth between their bill and their claws and passing it to their partners. It was amazing!
Nice shot, how did u get the shot from above them?
Thanks, Ava! They are one of my fave birds:) so intelligent and knowing. I love that they play on the wind.
