American Bullfrog

Lithobates catesbeianus (formerly Rana catesbeiana)

Description:

Bullfrogs may remain in the tadpole stage for almost 3 years before transforming into frogs. This tadpole is getting there with its little legs :)

Habitat:

Spotted in a small creek in Ocmulgee National Monument in central Georgia.
