Stenocotis depressa
An attractive long-legged 15 mm leafhopper with a broad triangular head and brown eyes. The whole insect was brown with thin scalloped patterns in a darker shade of brown.
Also on the trunk was a freshly discarded exuvia (pic 3).

Leafhoppers live on plant sap. They have long legs suited for jumping. They are from the family: Cicadellidae which has numerous subfamilies. This species is in s/family Tartessinae, Tribe: Stenocotini
