Acronicta psi
The caterpillars of the Grey Dagger Moth have two, tall hairy humps on their backs, and a wide, bright yellow stripe running along the top of the body. This one was on a Cherry Tree Leaf.
Common in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. Less frequently seen in Scotland. Moths seen June to September so odd to see a caterpillar this time of year.
