Synanthedon sp.
Unfortunately it is only half of the ID, I saw some more, but all only Sesiidae, nor species name.
I would agree with Sesiidae and Synanthedon sp., but it can't be Synanthedon arkansasensis, since this one is not found in India.
Beautiful Synanthedon sp., but I don't think it is Synanthedon arkansasensis. (See http://bugguide.net/node/view/164049/bgi... )
Wow! That looks like something on the end of a fly fishing line! Very unusual.
