The Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria) belongs to the genus Pararge. It' s a butterfly found in and on the borders of woodland areas throughout much of the Palearctic ecozone. The pictured butterflies were spotted near Makrynitsa village, Pelion mountain, Greece.
