Eastern Phoebe

Sayomis phoebe

Description:

Kind of dark blue-gray on top with a forked tail, White underneath and possibly a line across the throat. makes me think of a swallow, but where I saw it was not where I would expect to see a Swallow. They prefer more open spaces.

Habitat:

This was in the trees near the pond at the Library. If I had not seen it fly I would not have known where to point for my picture.
