Description:

Roughly 12-14 millimeters in body length, colored as shown. One of the "cotton stainers" that are so colorful.

Habitat:

Found on the frond of a sabal palm in dense palm and mesquite forest adjacent to citrus groves with scattered ponds near the Rio Grande River at the Lennox Foundation Southmost Preserve, managed by The Nature Conservancy. Location on map is approximate.
