Notes:

Another alien-looking urchin spotted at Secret Bay, Batangas during a dusk/night muck dive. Depth of about 7m. The small fishes were actually taking refuge inside its upright spines.

Thanks Kristen. Honestly do not know if they responded to the flash but as far as I can recall it was really vivid particularly when we train our flashlights on them. So I guess light does have an effect on its iridescence or maybe some form of bioluminescence. :-)

they looked like they were glowing.. did they? that's really amazing.. i wish I'd spot something like that someday
