Spotted Sea Hare

Description:

This sea hare is greenish with spots of a darker green hue. They feed on green algae, and grow to about 40cm in length.

Habitat:

Found singly or in pairs on coral and rocky reefs amongst sand and rubble areas. Circumtropical species.

Notes:

We spotted this snail-like creature at a depth of less than 5m, near the shoreline. It seems to be stuck to a sea urchin...
