Razorbill

Alca torda

Habitat:

Spotted in the St-Lawrence Gulf, off shore Bonaventure Island, a bird refuge. There were large colonies of razorbills and other sea birds such as seagulls, gannets, common murres and such.

Notes:

In french, this bird is called 'Petit pingouin' which means little penguin. Maybe it's because of their beaks.
