Common Mormon

Papilio polytes

Description:

Seen many of these around. Been trying to capture these since a long time. They are attracted due to the lantana in our garden.

Viv, I am removing all border plants from my garden and growing Lantana instead. Makes a big difference in spotting butterflies. Thanks.

Lantana will have to go on my plant shopping list. I know the butterflies love it. Great to see the Common Mormon stationary for once : )
Well done Satyen!
